I started my freelance bridal business with no real upstyling experience and quickly realised I was in over my head.

What was I thinking? I had zero experience in the bridal industry, yet the wedding enquiries started to come in. Before I knew it, my weekends were quickly becoming booked out and I would be absolutely riddled with anxiety on the days leading up. My confidence was knocked.

I had already committed to so many weddings, so I knew I had to do something about the constant worry I felt as the dates approached.

I became obsessed with finding solutions to rid my feelings of self-doubt by discovering ways to style hair in a way that was practical, time efficient and had steps that were easy for me to remember in stressful moments.

From there, I built on my skills. became better, and understood more clearly, how to create shapes and movement within the hair. This allowed me to create styles that I could use on all hair types.
